Who's behind it

I'm Kevin, the person behind Digital Affiliate Academy. I have worked in affiliate marketing since 2014. My focus here is helping you understand the decisions involved in choosing a niche and building a useful affiliate website.

What I found instead was noise. Endless hype, and almost no way to tell a real opportunity from an empty promise. What I could have used back then was a short, honest shortlist of the options actually worth considering, written by someone who had genuinely used them.

So that's what I set out to build. I only write about things I've genuinely looked into, I use the free options myself where I can, and I'd rather you skipped a purchase that isn't right for you than clicked a link and regretted it.

Common questions

You recommend a product or service you genuinely rate, and earn a commission when someone buys through your link. You don't create the product, hold stock, or handle customer service. You still need to follow each programme’s rules, create useful content and budget for any website or marketing costs.
There is no dependable deadline. Results depend on your audience, content, promotion, competition and implementation. Building search visibility can take months, and a website may never generate income.
You can begin without prior website-building experience, but you will need to learn and implement the setup. Some tools have free plans with limits. Budget for a domain, hosting where needed and any optional software or advertising. These costs are separate from DAA products.
Two things. First, choosing a niche: many people pick something far too broad, build for weeks, and quietly stall. Second, continuing after the first month when nothing appears to be happening, which is exactly when the work matters most. The free Starter Guide introduces a practical place to begin.
No. The Starter Guide is free and the site's reviews and articles cost nothing. The paid guides exist because the same questions kept coming up and a free article isn't the place to answer them properly, but everything in them is knowable for free if you'd rather work it out yourself.
